Zeng TianLu

曾天璐, graduated with a master’s degree from the China Academy of Art, teaches traditional Chinese figure painting. He has been invited to many ink painting and calligraphy exhibitions in China. While creating this cyberpunk-Buddha series, he was inspired by the idea of a broken robot choosing a temple over a charging station. It gives a sense of confusion but also a ritualistic beauty of the East. The series shows the blend of Buddhism and technology, and explores humanity’s imagination of the future.
